My name is Mahault, pronounced Mao. I like this name as much as it complicates my life; it’s quite unique. I’m French. I graduated in 2014 in Belgium after completing five years of midwifery training. During this time, I had the opportunity to do an internship, not only in hospitals, but also with a French midwife who specializes in comprehensive follow-up care during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. That’s when I knew this was the way I wanted to pursue. What I loved about it was seeing a family grow, watching its evolution, being by its side, and creating this closeness and intimacy with the couple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Later, in 2015, I completed my nursing training and then completed humanitarian internships in several countries such as Togo, Mexico, and Morocco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Finally, I arrived in Barcelona in 2017, where I began my working life in Spanish as a nurse in an IVF clinic, until 2018, when I decided to start working as a freelance midwife. Since then, I have provided personalized support during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. I love being by the side of all kinds of families and couples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
