THAI THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE

We offer two types of therapeutic Thai massages: traditional Thai massage or sensory-soothing Thai massage.

Traditional Thai massage works by restoring the body’s energetic and physical balance, stimulating the “correct” flow of vital energy to regain health and self-regulation. It purifies, relaxes, tones and expands mobility through pressure, stretching and twisting on the energy lines called sen. It is also called passive yoga, because many postures are similar to those of yoga. The sessions last between 1h30 and 2 hours, they can be done in tai on a futon or with oil on a massage table. It depends on what you need. We can complement the traditional Thai massage with a wet sauna scented with herbs and pindas (cloth bags filled with herbs) if you feel like it.

The sensory-soothing Thai massage is done with oil, on a massage table. It stimulates and relaxes the nervous system by regulating it through gentle, enveloping and rhythmic movements. It will transport you to a precious moment of intimacy with you, surrounded by the steam and essential oils released by the herbs, accompanied by the music and your breathing. It includes 15 minutes of sauna with anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, astringent and antioxidant herbs (prai, ginger, turmeric and lemongrass), followed by 90 minutes of massage with vegetable oil and essential oils (Juniper, Lavender or Frankincense). During the massage we facilitate the relaxation of each part of your body, expanding sensoriality, nourishing the skin, stimulating nerve endings, and relaxing tension. Finally, the massage ends with some subtle pressure with pindas, to reinforce muscle distension.
