FOREST BATHING 

 

Walking is a wonderful way to care for yourself and your physical and mental health. Walking meditation is one form of mindfulness meditation. The walker is invited to focus on what he or she sees, smells and hears. This allows the brain to focus on its right hemisphere, which is beneficial for improving mood, driving creativity, managing stress and reducing negative emotions.

Walking has a range of benefits you may not expect:

  • It improves muscle tone
  • It promotes good cardiovascular and respiratory health,
  • It increases overall energy and has a positive effect on our emotions and mood,
  • It increases creativity and allows you to focus and concentrate,
  • It improves sleep and boosts self-confidence
  • It regulates digestion and bowel movements

Re-energize, recharge your batteries in nature, be fully present as you walk silently and take a step back in order to reconnect with your inner wisdom. Walking meditation is a real discipline with incredible benefits!
